Breakaway release

The breakaway release component is used on gas/fuel station to build up a fuel pump fitting system, made from extruded 6061 aluminum alloy and CNC precison machined.

The fuel pump fitting will break away from fuel pump in case a person filling their car forgets to remove the nozzle from their car and drives off to prevent hose tear off/pull off from fuel pump, and fuel spill and dangerous conditions.
